| Acute Symptoms- A Partial Hospitalization Program is specifically designed for those clients who have not had success in the traditional single visit outpatient therapy milieu, and who are experiencing acute psychiatric symptoms that do not require immediate hospitalization. Preventative- A PHP may be viewed as a preventative step to hospitalization, allowing a client the access to the benefits of the structured environment of an inpatient setting, but with the autonomy of being able to rejoin the community and return home after each day's therapy sessions. Continuum of Care- Conversely, a PHP serves as a necessary phase in the continuum of care for clients who have recently been discharged from an inpatient program, providing them with a period of stabilization, medication management, and careful attention to their well being.
Our Partial Hospitalization Program- is a voluntary, five day a week program that runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. - a lunch is provided between the morning and afternoon sessions. Clients may be admitted to the program Monday through Friday. Clients can expect to be tended to by a multi-disciplinary team of Licensed Social Workers, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Nurses, Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, a Psychiatrist, and support staff. Each individual will receive Individual, Family, and Group Psychotherapy services. Medication Management services are rendered by a Psychiatrist and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners. Our Partial Hospitalization Program provides services to Medicare, Private Insurance, and Self-pay clients who meet PHP eligibility requirements |
